Hi, Jay.
For your new paradigm in economics, look for the issue #85 (vol.17, no.5) of Adbusters from Sep/Oct, 2009. The whole issue is dedicated to “Thought Control in Economics”. Several articles touch on the “eternal growth” problem, such as “Beyond the Growth Paradigm”, “Degrowth”, etc.
I just checked and apparently they posted all articles online under http://kickitover.org/
