Bill Ayers interviewed on ABC
William (Bill) Ayers went on record to clear up his relationship with Barack Obama this morning on ABC. Ayers stated that he is not a terrorist, his friendship with Obama is like any other regular person’s relationship with an elected official, and that the Weather Underground group was “unfairly ‘demonized’” by the media and the McCain/Palin camp.

“William Ayers, the 1960s radical whose violent history became a focal point in the 2008 presidential election, said today that the Republicans unfairly “demonized” him in an attempt to damage the campaign of President-elect Barack Obama.”
