Where would we be now, if Bush lost then?

That’s one of the questions Roger Stone is asking himself these days. “Consultant Roger Stone, the notorious political hitman who helped George W. Bush prevail in the 2000 Florida recount, tells The Daily Beast that he wishes he hadn’t.”

Vote, because you CAN!

A dirty fight is about the only hope the Republicans have left to win the November 4th election. And so the dirt is coming from every corner.

The last few days and weeks the GOP has stepped up its strategy to win, no matter what. The lies are spreading quickly, hitting the newsstands first. Almost daily there’s a story about the Muslim Barack, the evil socialism that he’s trying to spread, and how terrible life would be if the wealth was shared a little more, making it easier for the lazy, no-good, poor Americans to pay the rent and pay for their children’s tuition.

As if attack ads weren’t enough, the votes of many legitimate US citizens may be thrown out yet again. Why? Because of their race, party preference, class, failure to provide state issued IDs, or simply, just because. The GOP is cut-throat when it comes to the election. I doubt they will play nice this time around.

Read all about the Republican strategy to “block the vote” below. And on November 4th, please, go out and vote, because it matters!

What Sarah did.

My father taught me two things: 4 keys to self-defense and to never trust anyone who says “Trust me.” I think that was some of the best advice that I follow to this day. I never have and never will believe a single thing John McCain or Sarah Palin say. One keeps calling everyone his “friend,” and the other blatantly lies through her teeth with a smile when she says “I have nothing to hide.”

Please, who do they take us for? The “My Friend” thing is just a facade that will last until November 4th. This coutry has suffered long enough by blindly following a leader begging for trust and faith in the government’s ability to improve the country. We’re not so naive as to believe Mrs. Palin’s innocense based solely on her word either, she is a politician after all. Naturally, I wasn’t shocked when the probe into the Troopergate scandal found Mrs. Palin abused power, an “ethical violation”.
