US, Russia and China oppose UN’s gay rights mission

marriage-equalityOf course, let’s not forget the Roman Catholic Church who is opposing gay rights, listing improbable and nonsensical justifications for their intolerance.

“An unprecedented declaration seeking to decriminalize homosexuality won the support of 66 countries in the United Nations General Assembly on Thursday, but opponents criticized it as an attempt to legitimize pedophilia and other ‘deplorable acts.’

Where’s the love for Russia?

These are exciting times for the entire international community. We won’t have to wait long to see how Russia’s relationship with the US changes (or doesn’t). The last thing Putin wants is another cold war dispute with America, but I do think he’s convinced he needs to stop Bush from becoming an international superpower.

Vlad and Boris’ great adventures, doggone it! (Video)

Sarah Palin probably doesn’t realize this, but Russia is watching her too. They can’t not, it’s just too funny to see her stumble over questions 3rd graders ask.

Vlad and Boris wrote a love song for Sarah! My favourite part is when they sing “you betcha, doggone it.” :-)
